I know this is going to be wildly unpopular, but I don't understand the hype of this place. It's a cute breakfast/lunch/brunch spot that's located in the Park Road Shopping center -- so there's plenty of parking (that's a plus!). Another plus, was despite it being a beautiful fall day there was no wait! We walked right in and were seated in the back covered area.
I came with my husband and parents when they were in town during the fall. I ordered the seasonal soup. It was a squash soup with actually really delicious croutons. The soup was creamy without being too heavy, but it was a little on the sweet side.
What totally miffed me ... the biscuits. They were hard as a rock on the outside and crumbled easily. I didn't think they were flavorful. I've read other reviews that were positive so maybe I was there on an of day.
Service was OK, not great, not awful.
I'll have to try it again and see if it was just an off day for the restaurant, but I was truly disappointed by the biscuit.
