  • Lived here for almost 10 years, this is the real deal. In NC BBQ is serious, pork, nothing else. This is Eastern NC (If you don't know what that means you need to do some homework) at its finest. Bill runs the shop every day. Not unusual too see local business power brokers in here ( Hugh McCall, etc) each day at lunch. Hush puppies are wonderful , it's a can't miss in the Queen City. Highly Recommend.
