  • Decided to try someplace new last night. The reviews looked fair except one that talked about the terrible service. We thought we would try anyway. We were told there was a wait for a tables, which was fine. Sooner than expected, we were told our table was ready. We sat 5 minutes and were never greeted, offered anything to drink or acknowledged by a server. My husband stopped a server and asked if we had one assigned to our table. The guy looked frazzled and said yes he would be right there. We waited another few minutes and nothing. We got up and walked out and went next door to Blue 32 Grill and had great service and a very nice meal. My husband worked in the restaurant business for many years, so he understands the expectations of management and how to provide good service. So, when we go out to eat, initial acknowledgement by a server is pretty much on a timer with him. When we are going to spend money someplace decent service is huge and this place lost.
