It was nice to find this museum blocks from our hotel in Montreal. They were having a show about artifacts from Pompeii and another show featuring Toulouse Lautrec's work. This was in addition to the other ongoing exhibits in the three buildings that make up the museum. You enter in the newest building and gain access to the two buildings across the street via an underground tunnel / exhibit area. The variety of artwork is very comprehensive. From old world masters to current modern art. The buildings have something for every one. They also have a very good cafe serving salads and sandwiches and a cafeteria style lineup of steam tables. They also serve very good coffee. There was so much to see we spent the entire day walking around and I'm sure we did not see everything. But you ARE walking around three buildings, enjoy your visit.
