  • Well now that we returned home to Los Angeles and have discovered that this Macy's shoe department employee LIED to us, here is my update :) So initially, we came to this Macy's because we knew how grand and full of variety it would be, and were greeted by an employee in the Men's shoe department (forgot his name) but he was somewhat older, gray hair, thin white male. We asked if the particular Calvin Klein shoes were leather and he said all of those shoes were. So we bought them happy and off we went. Upon returning home, I tried on the dress shoes again and noticed how squeaky they were. We came to our local Macy's and asked their shoe department employees why it squeaks and she said because they aren't leather, leather won't squeak. "I don't know who told you these are leather but here we don't lie to you" So, we RETURNED those shoes. The liar from this location will hear about it from corporate.
