I was really impressed with this hotel. I was in Toronto on business but this hotel felt more like a pleasure. The lobby staff was knowledgeable about the local area and what was within walking distance for food and attractions. The room was well appointed. The hotel bar/restaurant area overlooks Lake Ontario, which was wonderful!
What I didn't like was the size of the room. It was overly cramped for two queen beds. I also found that the curtains didn't really block out that much light from the street (government rate =/= view overlooking the street). The room also didn't get cleaned one day, even though we were all out and didn't have a do not disturb sign on the door. The floor layout was kind of weird too, but that has to do with what is required of a structure that's essentially sitting on lake mud.
