Hands down one of the worst all around golf experiences in Arizona. I played this course years ago when course conditions were great, service was great and it was an all around great golf experience. Today...not so much.
First off, the course is in awful shape. Tons of patches of dead grass or even no grass in every fairway or by every green. Bunkers have questionable sand and lots of rocks. There is a lack of yardage markers on the course - most (if not all) sprinkler heads don't have yardage's and aside from the 150yd marker, it's very hard to figure out yardage's.Also there is a lack of water on the course - I'm not expecting a water cooler on every hole but a few more would be nice.
In terms of pace of play, it is SLOW. My fore-some teed off at 10:15am and it took 5+ hours to play, even though there was a ranger out on the course. Speaking of the ranger (Scott) - extremely rude. He came to our fore-some on the 14th tee and said "it's backed up behind you and the consensus is your group is holding everyone up". Keep in mind we are on a par 3, as the group in front of us is on the green putting. We pointed that out yet he thinks it's still our fault. My advice to Management is to get rangers who actually do their jobs vs accusing a group of slowing everyone down.
Save your $$ and play elsewhere. Course conditions and service make this place a joke.
