  • There's many good things to say about my cut/color with Alyssa. The salon itself has a nice, laid back vibe. It is well curated with fun vintage odds and ends. She took the time to sit down with me and get an idea of what I was looking for. Sometimes stylists spend less than 5 mins during this step of the process.....if you want something that is not your run of the mill do or you are particular, a 5 min consultation won't always give them the vision or direction you desire. I gave her a color palette I was digging and some other ideas and left the rest of the creativity up to her. I have two bold shades of red, a little blonde, some orange/gingery/copper pieces, and she wove in some of my pre-existing faded red/brown hair into the mix. This could have easily ended up being too busy but it was extremely well executed. Besides being talented, Alyssa is also nice and down to earth.
