  • So far I wasn't overly impressed with my first time here. I'll start with what I was happy with... the technician who did my services did a pretty good job on my gel manicure. I was a little taken aback at first though, that I wasn't asked to soak my cuticles before she started pushing them back. Luckily for me, they weren't overly dry, so the discomfort was minimal. I'm realizing that many places don't have you soak your cuticles, something I've found to be a 50/50 type deal here (in Vegas). I appreciate when I do get to soak first, personal preference I guess. I did like the clean up of my nails and the paint job on the manicure. I was not impressed, however, by my pedicure. My toenails were cut without any filed corners, and the edges were also uneven, both of which I had to fix when I got home. Maybe this was because I booked the In and Out service, but even then, I was surprised my nails were left with sharp corners and uneven edges. The paint was good though. Also, I booked the In and Out service merely because this was my first time here, I was just trying the place out. Ultimately, had I been impressed overall, I would have most certainly booked a longer more expensive service next time. My technician was pleasant, but the front desk was not too welcoming, which wasn't a huge deal, that's easily ignorable. The two services I received took 45 minutes total for both, something I felt to be kind of odd and seemingly rushed, maybe I'm mistaken. The pedicure for sure was supposed to be 25 minutes, but generally manicures are at least 30 to 45 minutes; maybe not here. It just seemed too quick. Me being someone who rarely gets her nails done, (it's a luxury for me rather than a necessity when I get to) I was somewhat disappointed in my first time here. I'm also not very picky at all because my requests are always pretty plain and simple concerning my nails, there's not a whole lot to mess up with me, I feel like. That being said, I would give this place one more try because I did like my manicure, (even though it was short) and the techs seem nice. Maybe the day I went was somewhat of an off day for my tech? Since I don't get my nails done often, it will be awhile before I try again. Maybe after the second time I will be able to increase my rating. I will gladly do so if my second experience is better.
