  • Five reasons why shopping at Longo's is amazing. 1. It's hilarious- I literally see people stacking fruit and miscellaneous housekeeping items into Louis Vuitton totes as if they were disposable plastic bags. 2. Go at 5-6 pm and it's probably the best dressed crowd you'll ever see at any grocery store. Longo's is the grocery store you dress up to go to because you don't want to be judged by your neighbours. 3. Want a fancy dinner, with minimal effort and low cost? Uno momento, they will steam a live lobster for you. 4. Having a rough day? No worries, Longos has a pharmacy, wine tasting section and Starbucks. (Probably don't mix the three though) Oh, and did I mention there is a LCBO just one floor above? 5. The prices are competitive with any other grocery stores in the vicinity, but your selection is so much larger. I have one minor complaint though, how come they only take physical Longos cards for their rewards system? I miss those days when I could just go to Sobeys and just read out my card number.
