  • This place is linked to verve car rental. I think they got the economy name because the reputation of verve is pretty bad if you look them up on yelp. I didn't know this until I stepped into their office today and noticed the verve car rental sign next to their economy sign. I couldn't find anything in Vegas about economy rental on google so I decided to give them a shot. Bad idea. So I booked this place on kayak a week early and I got to the rental place at 8am. The place is located in a shopping center and they don't have a large collection of cars. I walk in and the place is empty with one woman sitting at the counter. She doesn't greet me, and I had to get her attention and ask if I can sit down. I told her I had made reservations on kayak and gave her my license and reservation. She pulls up my name and says, I need a copy of your utility bill. I asked if I can show her a bank statement and tried to pull it up on my phone. After that, she notices I'm looking and says, it needs to be a hard copy. I see a printer in her office and ask if I can have her print it. She hesitates for a moment and says okay. After I got my file ready, I ask if she has an email I can send it to, and she says she doesn't have access to email. What business does not have an email for the employees? After, she proceeds to tell me that they limit driving to 100 miles a day and any driving over that is .25 cents per mile, which I wish I knew when I booked it. I told her I would come back if I am going to use them but I will never use them again. Terrible customer service and the service rep was cold to me. I ended up making a same day, same hour booking at fox car rental just down the street. Not only was the rep super friendly but he took off $5 for my shuttle fees without me asking, vsince I'm local. He didn't pressure to up sell me, and when I went to get my car, they didn't have a corolla for me, so they upgraded me to a Ford Focus for free. The price for a 2 day rental was $32 with taxes and fees. $16 per day on a same day booking!! That's crazy. I will stick with fox always from now on.
