| - this was conveniently located for me on a business trip. Walking in, the restaurant was almost empty but I was greeted warmly, and my server was uniformly good, attentive, and polite. the sushi was not Class AAA, but definitely good enough for a weekday meal. I ordered salmon, yellowtail and scallop sashimi, and amaebi and unagi sushi, and a salmon skin roll. It was fresh and had the right taste (except for the amaebi, but then what am I really doing ordering amaebi in a neighborhood restaurant/) and you either get 2 pieces of sushi per order or 3 slices of sashimi for the same price (obviously I took 3, what's some rice/seaweed??). I've had much better salmon skin rolls though. Avoid that. What won me over, though, was a complimentary mini-bowl of noodles and a separate almost amuse-bouche-like platter (really? yes) of age tofu. Yes. I can definitely be bribed like that.
