| - Wolfgang Puck's off-strip venture is huge, delicious, and so Summerlin. We started the evening with drinks. I had the red sangria, which was good--a tiny bit too sweet--but not so sweet to stop me from drinking three of them over the course of dinner. My boyfriend and I split the calamari for an appetizer, and it was good. I don't remember it too specifically now, so it definitely wasn't the best I've ever had, but I remember thinking it was good at the time.
For an entree, I had the spaghetti and meatballs. So good. So so so so tasty. The sauce was perfect and there was just the right amount to balance the flavor of the pasta and the meatballs. Two of our dinner companions also had pasta dishes, and they were part of the clean plate club that night. My boyfriend had steak frites. I stole a french fry, and it was crispy, well-seasoned, and hot, as it should be.
I gave it four stars instead of five because the service was good, but not great. Make a reservation if you go because all of Summerlin has found this place!
