  • My mom's favorite place to have lunch is Clementine's due to her obsession with all things Victorian and being a huge tea drinker. Every summer, I take her here for her birthday lunch. I have been coming here for years, and everything has stayed pretty consistent. My mom, two little brothers, and I came here for lunch yesterday, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Clementine's is located in the charming historic area of Olmsted Falls. There are several cute shops around it, so it makes for a nice afternoon. It is located in a refurbished barn that has a Victorian feel. Often times, there is someone playing the vintage piano during lunch hours. The downstairs is a little crowded with the dessert counter and a small area to shop for tea, coffee, and other beverage accessories. There is also a dining room upstairs, which is much more spacious. There is a tablecloth and fresh flowers on every table, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. My mom always orders the soup, yesterday's was chicken and dumpling, with half of a chicken salad sandwich. She loves it and never orders anything different. I like to mix things up a bit. Yesterday, I had the portabella sandwich, which was very tasty, although on the menu it says it is served on focaccia, but came out on a pretzel bun. I love pretzel buns, so I wasn't complaining. Very flavorful pasta salad was served on the side. The kids menu is very reasonably priced at $4.99 with about five different options. My little brothers love the mac and cheese, which comes with applesauce, and a cookie. It is just the right portion for the little guys. We enjoyed berry iced teas with our meals. The tea comes out in glasses rimmed with raw sugar with complimentary refills. It is also super refreshing. They have in more recent years expanded their cake and dessert offerings. We got a cream puff swan to share. Their desserts always have a nice presentation and are very decadent.
