  • This place is a little difficult to get to if you're coming from the West end and are trying to avoid the 407. Google maps told me to make a U-turn at Saddlecreek Drive but I turned left onto South Park Road and into the plaza Akane was in which was way easier. After seeing a bunch of delicious pictures on Yelp about this place I decided to finally make my way out here. My friend and I were trying to decide between "Love Boat B" (63 pieces) for $62.99 and the "Sushi, Sashimi, Roll" platter (66 pieces) for $59.99. Love Boat B had uni, hamachi, toro, unagi so we chose that. This platter also came with soup, salad, and thick glass noodles. No ice cream though like the online menu says, but I was so full afterwards I didn't care. It was supposed to be a boat for 3 people LOL. Shortly after having the soup, salad, and noodles, they were done making the platter. It might have taken them 15 minutes. They gave us tasty green tea as well. I didn't want to eat it because the presentation was beautiful. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I also had leftovers which is fabulous. I tend to frequent AYCE sushi places but this is one sushi place I would return to.
