  • I love that Zagat finally put the Pittsburgh food scene on the map (long overdue) and Muddy is in the best neighborhood in the burgh... East end. My old stomping grounds and this used to be an Ethiopian joint that I actually liked. This place is ok... And I mean that. Nothing wrong at all. Oysters are good but it is an oyster bar so they should be. No horsy or cocktail and this was a minus for me. Food is creole type but frankly not as good as Nola's in the Square. I had the shrimp po boy... And New Orleans staple. It was ok. We had some cocktails... They were ok. You getting my drift here. Nothing wrong with this place and worth a shot but also nothing to make it stand out. For record... Wait staff was good!
