  • We are what some would call more than regulars at Yama sushi. We've been going to same location on flamingo for over 7 years. So when we found out another location was opening we were super excited about it and couldn't wait to try. When we arrived to the Plaza it is located in, I was extremely disappointed in the availability for parking. There was absolutely no parking whatsoever. I know it's China Town and it usually always busy but dang. Once we entered I was pleased to find that waiting area was so spacious compared to the original location. The original has a bench inside that seats maybe 5 people and some benches outside. Anyways very pleased with the waiting area. As I walked in I was also pleased to find how big and spacious the entire restaurant was. I'm used to being elbow to elbow. Here however was very roomy. I was also so so happy to see booths. The waiters were very nice and prompt as always. And the food was great. Which I was hoping it would be. And so it was. I just wish that they had like a sushi bar in the middle of the room since they have room to do that. This location overall is pretty great but again the parking sucks balls! I'd come back with friends. But maybe carpool.
