I have to agree with what other reviews wrote about people not watching their dogs in this park! I took my rescue, Jasmin, there for the first time Sunday. She has been so shy since we got her and I have been slowly working her up to bringing her to a dog park to socialize her. I was so excited at first, she was having so much fun until one of the male dogs continually kept mounting her until they were tied together for 20-25 minutes. I saw it happeneing and immediately ran over to try and stop it but the park is very long and by the time I got to them it was too late. Jasmin is spayed and because of that she was not in heat and there was no swelling to protect her internally during the tie. She is now bleeding and in pain from the whole experience. And I am reading terriffy posts about the infections and other things I now have to worry about her getting because she is spade and was mounted. I was unfortunately mistaken when I thought that all the dogs at the park would be fixed. The other owners were not even aware of what was happening, someone apparently found them to tell them. One came over and just looked and said "oh" and then walked away to get the other owner. Then their second male dog tried to mount her right after the first finally released. You think they had a leash to control their dogs with on them? No. I was trying to pull the second dog off of her pretty much alone. So now my poor rescue's first time at a dog park to try and bring her out of her shell has turned into a tramatic experience and possibly pushed her farther into her shell. I am very very upset! I do not recommend!
