Came here with a friend. I haven't been here in awhile so I figured (with the hope) things have changed. Instead, this place just got worse. Here is why I give this place 1 star.
The RSO's is overly aggressive on safety. I get it! Let's be safe but they're too aggressive to the point you can't enjoy the sport of shooting with your friends. Puts everyone in a bad mood.
When the range goes cold. You are not aloud to touch your bag. Your bag! I understand if you're not aloud to touch your weapon or any items on the table that is on the firing line but if an RSO is unable to distinguish the difference between a "bag" and a "fire arm" in hand, then you shouldn't be an RSO. If the reason being is because someone has a weapon in the bag, it's technically "secured". As long as that weapon isn't in hand and secured in your bag, everyone is safe.
Don't make things overly complicated which is what this place does. Over complicates the safety on the range. The RSO shares 20 rules in a span of a 1 minute briefing over the mic prior going to a cold range and they expect all visitors to follow. Keep it simple and retainable.
I started shooting here when I was 10 years old. At that time, it was enjoyable to come here and shoot. Now 27 years old, I'm going to be avoiding this place.
Don't go here.
