So apparently a pintxo is like a tapas, only smaller... as our friendly server explained to us as we sat down. We were four people out for dinner and got to sample many of these small and delicious pintxos before the night was through. They have several specials which are posted on the blackboard in addition to their regular menu. Each dish is about 2-3 bites (depending on how big you tend to bite, I guess). The food is very rich and filling, so around 5-7 plates per person (assuming you want to save room for desert) should do the trick. Every plate was super tasty, the standouts would have to be the goat cheese ravioli, pork loin with 5 spice rub and the scallops with maple syrup. They also have a nice wine list of mostly Spanish wines, we had a lovely syrah that went down way too easy. Desserts were just ok, we had the iced nougat and passion fruit cake. I would have actually saved that tiny little corner of my stomach for another delicious maple coated scallop. It's a small restaurant, and space is cozy but not cramped. Reservations advised, especially for weekends. Service was great and well paced, they bring things out 2-3 at a time so you don't get bombarded with all your order at once and get a chance to savor each one.
