  • Right before getting my hair done at Chandelier Salon (you can see my review for their as well) I decided to get something to eat. I went thru the whole shopping center and at Monta I had the best feeling- I did not want to check reviews until I sat down. It is a small restaurant that can probably only seat about 25 people. I ordered the kimchi rice with pork belly on top and my girlfriend ordered the Spicy Ramen. My kimchi rice with pork belly was delicious, the pork belly was soft and almost melted in your mouth. The kimchi rice was not red which thru me off but the flavor was amazing. The ramen was amazing and so large- half way thru we decided to switch to both try what we each ordered. We also ordered pot stickers and they were delicious. For everything it ended up costing up about 26 dollars and it was well worth it. When we arrived (Saturday at 2pm) there was no wait but when I left the hair salon at almost 8pm there was a line wrapped around the door. For the next 24 hours, I craved and wanted Monta. I will be back and am so excited my food guides directed me here.
