This was a real disappointment.
We went on a weekday afternoon and it was absolutely packed full of screaming children running around and bumping into us. We couldn't get a good look at any of the exhibits, and the ones that we did weren't great in terms of their information content. It's all flashing lights and screens. I don't see how any of the kids who come in here really take in any of the information. They just recklessly place with toys (which is great because kids should be having fun!), but they're not really learning anything. This is an environment for VERY short attention spans (and believe me I don't expect kids to just sit and read or be lectured at).
This is not a place where I would bring my own kids. They had loud rock music playing (not even good songs...) and I think this contributed to the atmosphere of anarchy.
After about half an hour of trying to make it through some of the exhibits we gave up and left.
The content of the exhibits if for elementary-middle school level of science. If you're someone who doesn't have any science education you might get some interesting facts from these exhibits (if it isn't over crowded), but if you're someone who has some college or university introductory level sciences courses under your belt then you're better off with another museum
