  • Restaurant week is always a good time to try new places that are at a higher price point. Bakus restaurant week menu is $35 plus $5 extra for dessert. Walking in the ambiance is so perfect. It's romantic and quiet which makes for a nice evening meal. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated immediately. I always love when restaurants do that! We ordered some drinks and then placed our order off of the restaurant week menu. I got the edamame, pork dumplings, NY strip, and split the chocolate cake and beignets for dessert. I was a little disappointed that dessert was $5 extra on the restaurant week menu, but both desserts were so good I wanted to lick the plate Let me say that all of my courses were incredible. I loved everything! The portions were enough to fill me up and I ate every last thing on my plate. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the kitchen was very backed up. It took forever to get each course. Our waitress was apologetic and kept our drinks full though!
