I'm from the bay area CA and was recently out visiting my parents in AZ. My mom suggested that we go to Merchant Square Antique Mall and "then we can go to "Pittsburgh Willy's" for lunch, he's getting quite famous for his gourmet hot dogs ya know"! Well okay mom, that sounds good! Little did I know how good it would be! It's like going back in time to the good old days of Americana and great food! Great hot dogs, (I had the kraut dog) and great homemade chili (with Willy's secret ingredient), great homemade "healing chicken soup" from scratch and..... old fashioned drinks (root beer and YooHoo, etc...), and great old school desserts which I didn't even get to try, but I've heard they're amazing! Also his homemade Perogies served every Wednesday are becoming legendary! Did I mention the owner Randy (aka: Pittsburgh Willy) is the most gracious friendly host ever! He truly cares about his customers and it shows! Overall it was the most wonderful experience! I only wish he would open a restaurant in the Bay Area and "clone" himself to be there everyday! I would definitely be eating there at least every week! This place is a must for foodies and everyone else! YUMMY! Check it out!
