| - Absolute crap. So far out of way, it was creepy. Old tired room, carpet coming up. No creature comforts. A tube of something was found behind bed as I was looking for a plug for my phone. Best case scenario would have been a tube of toothpaste, my fiance said "gross. It could be lube or something. DO NOT touch it!" My question is, even if it was an innocent toothpaste, why was it even there? Hotels have cleaning staffs, right?
Breakfast, the next day: I walk into buffet and am greeted by a surly hostess. Breakfast looked terrible anyway. I go to grab a cup of complimentary coffee. Every pot is bone dry. I ask and again receive a lazy, rude response from her. I just walk away in midanswer, giving her the same respect I have received.
We get room service and the same jerk walks into my room, all smiles (of course, she wants a tip... AWWWWWKWARD). I got a big greaseball that was called a burger. My fiancee got a contintntal breakfast with a stale donut and old fruit. We had coffee that tasted like chlorine.
Pittsburgh is a decent city. Sheratons are usually great. Don't ruin your impression of either by staying here.
