  • I was very angry when I left Savers thrift I was there to find certain things for my family. First of all my husband and I walked in and the workers just starred, there was never a employee and store representative who made a customer feel welcome. We went into the household department and it was unorganized. I found a pottery piece that I liked a lot and when I looked at the bottom it was signed by the maker. We went down a few more hours and found another Pottery piece I was very interested in so I turned it upside down to see if that piece was signed. It wasn't but to my surprise there was an original ticket on this piece that said $3 and savers put there sticker price over that that said 4.99. I I took the piece up while I was checking out but before I checked out I was still shopping. I was very appalled to see how there's likeliness in 3 little area rugs same size same color everything made the same with three different prices 299 399 and 499. We're over 1299 for stained dress unacceptable. As I was checking out I ask the cashier if he could honor the lower price in the pottery he said he needed to call his manager Michelle. The manager came to the register he showed her the sticker price which was the original sticker price and their sticker and she said she could not honor it she has to have the 499. I blew a head gasket because first of all every thrift store is a great place supposedly to save money why should you pay 1299 for a stained dress that someone else used that's ridiculous. Then she wouldn't honor the the lower price that was wrong and the part of customer service is making a customer feel welcomed that wasn't happening. I have been managing a thrift store in California for twenty years I would fire everybody in there including the manager and start fresh. Reason they have second hand stores thrift stores is to give the consumers better prices. They are also there as a nonprofit or profitable place the prophet once by their merchandise the nonprofit get 100% free donations. Savers is a joke the manager needs to be more professional because of consumer is the one that's keeping that store open if the original tax had $3 and you're charging for 99 you better get on your team about peeling off price tags that come in because a lot of donations are are leftovers from people who want to give back to their community, the managers attitude was unacceptable and the employees need some training in customer services. Needless to say I didn't buy the vase and it wasn't because I didn't have the money, it was the principle . she didn't have to rude about it. I also called the store to I can get the corperate# and wouldn't you know the managers Michelle answer and tried to ask question on why I wanted to number so I just told her I want the number to complain she asked me to hold and she hung up on me. That was unacceptable to me as well. I I'm not the type of person to let things pass so I called another Savers in Las Vegas and that manager was kind enough to help me and give me the number and she kept on saying that she was sorry for any inconvenience or any anger I was feeling at the time. All I can say is that there's people out there who work just to make money and then there's people out there who love to work the people who are there to make money has no business being in front of the public have no business helping the public because when you blessed people with an outfit Something Free give him a break whatever it is your store will be blessed and you look better but this store did not look good at all in my opinion and because of that one manager I will never shop at his favors again because it's not worth giving my hard work money tool store I could care less about people it's us little people that keep that store and thrift stores going
