| - It's a nice large dog park, with two sections for active and passive dogs. I've been there twice in the past week and had a good experience both times. My dog Daisy likes it as well. The sections are large and both times we went there were a lot of dogs, and mostly attentive owners. We used the active section because my dog loves to run and chase the other dogs, and it's great exercise for her.
One thing I found funny. There's three watering fountains outside the entrance gate by the parking lot, and some at the extreme end of the section from the parking lot, but none close to the entrance gate inside. That's my only real complaint.
Unfortunately, today there was one dog there who consistently got into it with other dogs. He was a large dog, after the third event I leashed up my smaller 34 pound dog and left. The owner should not be taking such an aggressive dog into that type of situation. Dogs will always joust a little for position in a park situation like this, but it's usually over in a few seconds. I saw or heard this young man's dog attack other dogs at least three times, and he would correct the dog, but not restrain it. Unfortunate, but not the fault of the park.
