  • Oh well Dollar Rent A Car obviously is not concerned with their rating on Yelp as there is nothing other than one and two star ratings. The only reason I give them two is the fact that their competition isn't really much better. Booking my car on a travel site with my flight probably saved me a few bucks but then it would have saved me a few bucks with any of the rental car companies. From the pushy counter person that is noticeably upset with my refusal of their insurance and other add on fees to the fact that they wanted to not give me my car because I didn't have two local numbers and it's company policy. They basically forced me to lie to them with a second local number just to rent the car. When I asked how many people really traveled with multiple cell phones, the clerk could only repeat herself that the company requires two local numbers in case they have to contact me in regards to the car. While I have had worse experiences they certainly go out of their way to make the process as troublesome as possible.
