I am a Hyatt Platinum card holder....
Pool is fun for kids and families and the best service we got all weekend was pool side. She was actually amazing!
The actual hotel is a bit tired and they don't do anything for the Platinum Hyatt members. They give you a card with your points on it but no extra service or customization. I usually get a thank you for staying with us. The check in process was actually like a scolding (these are our rules about the pools...no we charge for a roll away even if you are a platinum member...no we don't upgrade our hotel is sold out.....literally was the only ones at the breakfast the next day...it's august in AZ. (so much for all those points/stays and credit card support ) vs. a warm welcome. We never got our room maid up in the two nights we were there. Waited over an hour and a half for the maid after she said she would be right there (she was next door). You could tell housekeeping is not very detailed there based on the room.
We were seated for breakfast and experienced a long list of wait staff errors...only brought 1/2 the drinks, no silverware/napkins for the table after they brought the food, asked for pepper and salt and the pepper was empty. They corrected each after we call them back over, each time...but it was obviously a very poorly executed meal. We even had an employee tell us they wanted to move a table from the completely empty patio we were on so they might lift it over our heads and we might need to move our kids??? what? thank goodness they two maintenance workers had more smarts and took a different route on the empty patio.
Needless to stay, would NOT return here and their staff needs some training.
