  • Decided to try the food at the Lower Burrel location. They had hot dogs written on the board so I ordered one with sauce and onion. The guy at the counter and mumbled something about a" Donny dog"so I said sure. Ended being a hot dog stiffed in a sausage size roll smothered in a tomato sauce with two large pieces of American cheese and pieces of sliced onion. Sorry but all I could taste was the overwhelming cheese. I ordered fries as well and they are coated some of light batter with and odd taste. Take my advice and don't order ketchup. Very oddly spiced and definitely not Heinz. So far the stars above are for their terrific custard. The stars that are lacking are for not tasting your own food to realize the problem. If they would only ask I would show them how to make a tasty hot dog.
