We got this insurance for my previous dog, Lobo, since he was getting older and we thought it might be a good idea since he could start to present health problems (he was 11). Weeks later he was diagnosed with cancer (we never knew before this) in the throat and it was inoperable due to it growing too fast. It did grew too fast and two weeks later it was so huge you could feel it outside his throat, he started to have problems breathing and eating so we put him to sleep to spare him the suffering. But the insurance decided not to pay us because, according to them, we did knew and that he not wanting to eat was evidence of it... Lobo ALWAYS presented problems eating, we even had to give him vitamins since he was a puppy to motivate him to eat so for us IT WAS NOT a symptom. Not happy with this they charged us for taking the insurance down when our dog was now passed away.
Still, time after that we got a new puppy (like 3 weeks after) and we thought maybe they'll be better with a puppy. Well, not. Again, they decided not to pay us anything when they even told us some of the procedures our puppy went trough the covered but last minute it suddenly did not. Again, they charged us to take the insurance down.
