  • To be honest, when we pulled up to this place I had my doubts. It doesn't look like much on the outside - but I am so glad we stopped here. This was AMAZING texas style BBQ. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing time and were greeted by two really helpful, friendly ladies asking if we've ever been before. This strikes me as the type of place that has a lot of regulars because the food is SO GOOD. They offered us a sample of the moist brisket (their specialty) and we knew we'd come to the right place! The best brisket I've ever had! We ordered the po boy sandwich and two sides to share and it was plenty of food for my husband and I and our kiddo. I didn't try the sausage - but the pulled pork and brisket were amazing. The BBQ sauce was tangy and the perfect compliment for both.... though the pulled pork could have been eaten alone because it already was really well seasoned. The creamed corn and green beans were both great, flavorful and a good size for two people to share. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. We will seek this place out the next time we're in the area!
