This will probably end up long, but worth the read.
The towels are not all alike. Some are white (newer) and some are a really dingy off-white. I don't think that they realize this when they drape the smaller ones in layers over the bigger ones. The really dingy ones really stand out against the newer white towels. The older dingy towels also have frayed edges etc.
The room was ok. Nothing fancy but had a bed and couch and desk. All cheaper stuff, but the place is safe.
It is located in a super location. It is hard to find at first as it is behind a McDonald's and a Denny's. So they are easy walking distance. In fact if you give your room number at the register at Denny's then you get 20% off your bill and Denny's is open 24 hours so that is a good thing. Also there is a large mall on the other side of it so all kinds of stores in the general vicinity.
The free breakfast isn't bad. You get cereal, milk, orange juice, danishes, scrambled eggs (always were super dry), sausage links (actually really good!), gravy which I didn't try. Also yogurt and bread for toasting. Oh! and a waffle maker.
We were gone from our room most of the day. The first day we left the room at 6:30am and returned at 8pm. Well the housekeeper decided to save the hotel money and turned OFF our AC and it was August! ugh! We made sure to leave a note on the AC from then on to leave it where it was set. At midnight the first night the room was still in the 90's as the small AC just couldn't bring it down quickly.
Remember to get your free newspaper at the front desk each morning too.
