I can't believe this place is actually in business. I am looking for daycare and stopped by here yesterday after work. Since there wasn't any Yelp reviews yet, I thought I'd come up with my own opinion. Here are my observations and answers to my questions given to me my the director's granddaughter since she was on vacation.
Teacher/infant ratio: 1 to 5
Food storage area and sink area: fridge was fine but their were dirty rags along the countertop, gross!
Infant room: looked like all of their toys came from Goodwill, they were old and torn. No pillows or walkers in the room, just an old playmat.
Infant curriculum: none. they just play with toys.
Teacher education: all "teachers" are in the middle of their education and according to the granddaughter should have their credentials in the next couple of months. The infant caretaker looked no more than 18 years old.
Security: none. Right when you walk in there is access to the main day care area and immediately to your left is a door to the infant room. When the girl took us into the main play area she left the little white gate wide open and it was my husband who closed it to prevent any children from walking out! The door is not automatically locked from the outside and there was no visible security cameras in place.
Outdoor time: For infants, none. But for this place it wouldn't have mattered because their play area is in a parking lot surrounded by vehicles. I would not my baby exposed to gas fumes all day.
And if you're curious, registration fee $50 and $280 a week for full-time care. Don't know where all this money goes, certainly not the facility itself. Overall this place was a joke. I feel bad for the babies that get dropped off here.
