  • We used to go to the Ruth's Chris on Flamingo as a regular 2 or 3 times a month for date night and when they closed down we were disappointed in the selection of places to replace it with and until tonight couldn't fine one. This place will become that replacement. Even though we are locals tonight was our first visit to Del Frisco's and it was very good. Got there early for 5 o'clock reservation had drinks at the bar, then seated at a really good quiet table. Our waiter was very good attentive knowledgable about the special menu for NYE. The manager came over while we were waiting for desert and welcomed us and asked if we had a good time. If there is something(s) I would suggest is that maybe not put garlic in nearly every dish i.e. the potatoes both had garlic(augraten potatoes don't usually have garlic) and the asparagus would be much better saute'd or grilled with butter and sprinkled with parmesan cheese instead of steamed with almond slices. My husband had the surf and turf filet and lobster tail and I had the salmon with asparagus as a side. For desert I ordered the chocolate mousse which was so light and delicious. Neither of us are big eaters so we were stuffed with what we had and i ordered the strawberry cheesecake to go for my husband and brought the rest of my desert home for tomorrow. We are looking forward to going there more often and becoming regulars. Thank you to the staff for a very enjoyable night out. Happy New Year.
