Working downtown today I was stopping by the park to have my snack break. The park is small and quaint, it has a children's play area that is big considering the park area is tight. There are big shade trees to park under for a great break. The park has a few residents who encamp during the day so there may be no sitting areas open.
I would avoid the restroom area since it is sometimes closed or dark and looks quite unsafe.
If you are a big shy this might not be your kind of city park since they have quite a few temporary residents.
Having a great big patch of grass and big trees in the middle of the city is a great thing, and this park is that.
