  • First visit to this office location and I was greeted by a receptionist who took no time to look at the check in sheet I completed and began asking the same questions. My appointment was scheduled for 2p, printing and completing paperwork ahead of time pushed my appointment to 2:30p but the receptionist stated I was scheduled for 1:30p. I checked in at 2:26p. I was about to play the voicemail left on my phone confirming my appointment time but she quickly took my completed paperwork and had me take a seat. I witnessed other appointments walk in and be seen before me. After 30 mins I was about to check in with the receptionist when we were finally called back. Luckily we did not wait long for Dr. Nelson to visit our room. He quickly changed the mood with his professionalism and quick connection with my 13 year old. He made eye contact and included my son in his exam, making sure he fully understood what was being discussed. Upon hearing about my experience, Dr Nelson made a mental note and quickly apologized for the situation. I am relieved the Dr offered a new perspective to his office and I will be taking all future appointments to his Henderson location.
