  • I'm finally getting around to reviewing Elements; Ambiance; It's small, intimate, classy, up-scale with fresh linens & fresh flowers. To me, it's reminiscent of a NYC neighborhood restaurant. There's a bar along one side of the restaurants with ample seating & a TV on the wall set on mute for the sports junky. Steer clear of the middle tables if possible, you'll be literally sitting next to a stranger at their table just inches from yours. Service; Always A+. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgable & quick to suggest a martini from the list. The owners are always present & accommodating. There's no question they are vested in their business & the happiness of their guests. Catherine will undoubtedly come to your table and tease you with her low sugar (but you'd never know it) desserts. Food; Start with a martini-my favorite, Scooby Snack. They serve complimentary bread with a butter chutney jelly that's D-lish! Hubby & I come often & we've tried just about everything. Our favorites are pork oso boco, jambalaya, Chilean sea-bass, the steak. The portions are just right and the cost is around $20 a plate. A dinner here feels like a special occasion even on a weekday.
