  • St. Lawrence Market is the Eately of NYC, the Reading Terminal Market of Philadelphia or the Union Market of Washington, DC. Housed in a HUGE historic building right downtown Toronto, hundreds of vendors sell their various products on two floors. If you want fresh bread, they have it. If you want spicy, hot mustard, it's there. Pickles, cheese, burgers, peameal....they have it all! It's closed Sundays, but go any other time for lunch or dinner and spend time wandering the floor taking it all in. Pro-tip: Order small dishes at several stands so you can try a variety of good there.
