  • I am so impressed with Long Animal Hospital. I'm also so thankful that I found them! My little dog was acting very strangely and I just knew something wasn't right. The tech I spoke to initially, Keri, was empathetic and knowledgable. She stayed calm, and pleasant even while I was probably not making any sense whatsoever trying to explain my dogs symptoms. When I arrived to the clinic after-hours, I was pleased to see how clean and orderly everything was. We only waited a short time to see the doctor. After X-rays, we discovered my dog had swallowed several mystery objects! The overnight vet (I've forgotten his name, sorry!) was informative, professional and compassionate. We came up with a plan of care, and I had to leave my little dog overnight. In the morning (around 6:30) Dr. Pillough called me to let me know he'd be taking over my dogs care. He was going to try a couple of options before jumping to surgery. He stayed in contact with me all day until we realized surgery was absolutely necessary. He personally called before and after surgery and again before leaving for the day. I've never been so well taken care of by my own doctor! This morning I was able to visit my dog and see the OR and kennels. This place is spotless! I was thrilled to see how well the clinic is taken care of. It really put my mind at ease knowing my dog was in such a great place! I am happy to report that my little dog is now home and resting. I can't say enough GOOD about Long Animal Hospital!
