  • This is a very clean and well run Food Lion. My past experiences with other Food Lions have not been so good. When shopping in Dilworth, this Food Lion provides a far superior experience over the disorganized and overpriced Harris Teeter on East Boulevard. Also, this Food Lion takes Apple Pay, which makes getting in an out at the self serve lanes even faster. That's the best part about this Food Lion, you can get your items quickly and can get out quickly. Their deli meat truly sucks though; I wouldn't even give it to my cat (actually I bought it for my cat, but threw it in the trash). I've never seen a turkey slice turn to mush in your hands before, but their nasty turkey did. They used to have good Boar's Head meat, but replaced it with their own awful Food Lion meat.
