Be warned --there is zero loyalty to their long time customers.
The growth in Charlotte is such that they cant keep up with the demand.
As a result they gouge their long time customers and if you leave they could care less as they have more than they can handle..
To understand my frustration I had two annual maintenance programs with them and had been a customer for over 15 years, had a $5000 system installed recently, gave them 4 referrals over the past 3 years and spent a lot of money with them .
Their rookie tech came out to do annual service and it took him over 4 hours --twice as long as the experienced guys -- I was understanding as thsi guy was new , but 4 hours was a push.
He found a problem and quoted me a price and the time to do it -an hour and a half . I had a commitment that afternoon and could not spend another 90 minutes oin his training but asked him to come back and I would do the repair which was about $250 -- he and his management confirmed that to come back they would charge another $75 for a service call --yet I was flexible on when he could do it and he had already taken up a good portion of my day
Really ??
From a business standpoint they lost 2 annual contracts and a new unit sale for the other location --They could care less !
For me it was an eye opener --I found a far more reasonable and well respected group to service my AC needs
Acosta unfortunately are now full of themselves and current management , will not even get on the phone, they let their receptionist handle it with a pre written script . Lining their pockets at the expense of their reputation --and the pockets of their long time customers must be the new directive --its not customer service --You make the call
