You know that place where you love so much and you go so often that you've actually totally forgotten to review it? I am actually embarrassed at the fact that I haven't gotten around to reviewing Cleveland Tea Revival yet!
Where to begin! First off, the actual storefront and interior are beautiful. It's quaint without being claustrophobic, hip without trying too hard, and welcoming without being overwhelming. Not to mention the owners are really awesome. I never feel weird or awkward being the only one there because they are always really easy to talk to.
They open at 7am which I love because sometimes I like to go before work. Though secretly I wish they opened sooner so I could go right after my 5:30am spinning class at Harness. Ah well!
Every time I go I get the gunpowder green tea, and the sourdough toast with smashed avocado. They have a huge selection of teas so I know I should branch out and try new things, but why fix it if it's not broken?
I will recommend going for a hot tea opposed to cold tea though. The first time I went over the summer I opted for cold (which makes sense in the summer), but I feel like it stifled the flavor of the tea. When it's hot, the different flavors and aromas really come out.
So if you are a tea person or just happen to find yourself in the area, stop in! Say Sarah sent you! (lol jk don't say that, they have no idea who I am.)
