| - I have been excited about the High Roller since the preliminary discussions took place years ago. When ground finally broke, it was exciting driving past the wheel, watching it slowly come together.
Last night, I finally got to experience it for myself. Walking up to the giant wheel is a beautiful sight! You really get a feel of how huge it is.
After getting our tickets, we hopped on the elevator and made our way to the deck. I was surprised at how quickly you have to get into the cabin because (as mentioned) the wheel doesn't stop rotating.
Once you're inside though, you can't really feel the movement, it's very smooth. It didn't feel like a half an hour and it didn't feel like you were that high up. The cabins are very spacious and comfortable.
The ride was over before we knew it. We made the full rotation, got the pretty views, and rode the largest observation wheel in the world.
It is what it is, something to do, something to see, and something to check off your bucket-list.
