  • Drove the 20 miles to try this place as I am a fan of crepes. Was disappointed they only offered the buckwheat batter as I prefer the regular wheat flour. The menu was extensive enough, it's just missing onion soup au gratin. They offered plenty of crepe fillings, both savory and sweet. I was pleasantly surprised at the decor. Very cavern like, dark and Swiss/French feeling. The theme continues in the bathroom too. Place is very clean and much better than I expected. The food was excellent quality and everything was fresh and from scratch. The side salad was good and cheap at $2.25 with a great house whole grain mustard vinaigrette. The savory and dessert crepe we had were both excellent. Even the little side dish of steamed potatoes was perfect. Buttery fingerlings cooked to perfection. The free tartine they bring you in place of a bread basket is to die for. Could have eaten 20 of them tho, way too small. What a tease. Service is average. Food is really, really good. Place is interesting, to say the least. Worth the drive if you like this type of food, probably not if you don't. I will be back to have fondue next. Good prices too.
