  • Fitness Works has a generous 7 Day Free Trial. Just sign up online, and they will send you a trial pass to your email. It expires, so use it within 3 days. This location is conveniently located off the 101 Loop if you live and work on the western side of Greater Phoenix. Many treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines available for cardio work. The main floor is large and looks like a warehouse. There are a variety of weight machine systems: Nautilus, Strive, etc. Some of the equipment were out of order. The padding on some of the machines were torn. They have disinfectant wipe stations and a water station. There is a small area to stretch out with exercise balls. There are all free weights that you can use. It is definitely not crowded during the week and more utilized during the weekend. They have a Kid's Babysitting Room that I didn't see used. It had 2 exercise studios that I didn't really check out. The locker room was dingy and damp. You have to bring your own locks. They don't like you bringing your gym bag into the workout room, but I don't like the locker rooms, so I will carry my bag with me. This connects with their indoor pool that was overwhelmingly cloying as the strength of the chlorine was concentrated. There were 2 women using the pool and one gentleman using the hot tub when we checked it out on a Friday afternoon. A basic membership is about $10 and a Premium Membership is $20 (Classes for fees are included).
