  • Now this isn't the field museum in Chicago (one of the best museums i've ever been to by the way), but I did find a lot of the attractions enjoyable. This was part of your ticket price when you buy your entrance fee to the Springs Reserve (which I will address in another review) so it was a giant surprise to see this inside when I wasn't expecting it. I came in not expecting much but to my surprise, this museum was pretty nice! It's very small and some of the exhibits aren't the best but the ones they do have are quite nice. They have a Mammoth skeleton and that of a pretty big prehistoric fish that I can't name at the moment but I did take a pic of it. I really liked their displays of the old time wagons, and other gear early pioneers used at the time. There was this cool display which was kind of like a 3D presentation where there were three characters on a screen that spoke to you about their lives in the old days. I thought it was really cool. There were some mineral and gemstone displays but not much. I wished they had more to be honest because that was my biggest interest. I would have love to see a big gold nugget but sadly there wasn't any. I wouldn't have given this place five stars if I had to pay anything to get it, besides the cover charge at the Springs Reserve to be honest. But the fact that it was a surprise, and a pleasant one at that, I am more than happy to give it a good rating as I have.
