| - Honestly, I had high hopes for this place. When you walk, the ambiance of the place was much different than what I imagined, and it actually made me enjoy it - at first. You get the choices of all the fancy shmancy pastas, and the different ways to make it. Then I saw the prices.. wow. Pretty steep for pasta, but I thought if it's good, who cares?
I ordered the Crazy Alfredo. The cost came out to $12 for the pasta and a medium drink. I taste it, and it was decent but not great. The food came out in wood(?) bowls, and compared to the ambiance and price, it was a little tacky. My friend ordered a macaroni and he said it probably would have been better to buy Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and eat it at home.
When I got home, I vowed never to go back. The food came right back out. It could be for other reasons as well, but I don't think I could ever go back after that horrible experience that night. I expected a lot, and despite it's upscale decor, it didn't meet up to even a quarter of my standards. I think I have a better chance going to a Pizza Hut and getting some pasta there.
