| - I provided a one star for Mount Charleston, because that was the lowest rating I could provide. I really feel that a 0 is more reflective of my experience.
I got married at Mount Charleston, as such I spent a weekend up there, interacted with most of the employees, and then also went up to the hotel a few other times prior to prep. In doing so I was able to get a pretty comprehensive experience with all areas of services they provide.
Hotel - The room was not cleaned, did not have towels, and the water only put out hot water.
Food at the wedding - They served the incorrect meal. Prior to the wedding the chef changed 2x and the Resort hassled me about doing a tasting.
Wedding Services - My wedding coordinator changed 3x which each person they were limited with the information they had, the information/order of events/price points changed with each person. The "Manager" that called prior to the event was rude, unhelpful, and made statements such as "we do this every weekend" though their practices did not reflect such.
Food at the restaurant - The wait was 60 minutes, this was particularly disappointing as there was only 3 other tables at the time I went for breakfast.
Hotel Employees - Some of the hotel employees were very nice. For instance the 2x servers at my wedding were lovely and very helpful. However, they are extremely overworked and there are not enough employees making wait times loonnnnnnnnggggggggg. It took 30 minutes for the cake to disperse at my wedding due to the shortage of employees.
Disorganized - As a whole the company is disorganized. The bar tab was $500 higher than it needed to be because the staff charged different prices for the same item but just appeared to not know the basic price points for each drink.
It is a real shame this establishment is so poorly run because it has the potential to be beautiful! That being said I won't spent another dollar at this place because of my previous experience :(
