  • My husband and I finally broke down and got ourselves the mattress we had been planning to buy 2 Christmas seasons ago. I actually told him not to mention the back issues both of us seem to be having of late as I didn't want to be pressured by any hard-sell tactics. Antar S, who goes by "Mr. T" took care of us and before you knew it I was telling him about our aching backs. Throughout our visit to the store, he told us the background of any mattress we checked out, then wandered off to let us talk about the merits of the model we were checking out. He patiently waited as we dialed up some friends and asked them where they had made their recent purchases. Having almost settled on a regular coil spring mattress, we wandered over to the Tempurpedic selection of items and that is where we made our purchase. Throughout our time there, Mr T gave us detailed answers to our questions, gave us some private time to discuss our options and opinions and then talked some more to us about other customers and their experiences with the mattresses they had bought. We decided to take the YELP comments we had read on the internet as our guide to the stores we were going to go to. Well, we never did get past Mattress Firm and we're glad. Mr. T was a stellar spokesperson for the firm and the brands he represented. Friendly, with a sense of humor, and a professional ease that made us comfortable with the sale. We will pass along our satisfaction to anyone who needs a good nights' sleep. Christine and Fred J
